Day boarding program

Your child can participate in the after-school activities they love, eat dinner and finish their homework - all before they get home. They can also get help with their homework from a member of the academic staff after school. You can have peace of mind knowing your child is being cared for in a safe, supportive and familiar environment.

Who uses day boarding?

This option may suit busy families who have work or other commitments (such as young children) or families who live out of town. Some families are finding it increasingly difficult to juggle after-school commitments (various activities, staggered pick-up times, dinner and homework) without exhausting themselves and their children.

Program

More and more families are using this service for one, two or three evenings (Monday to Thursday) each week, depending on the needs of your family.

Structure

3.30 Walk to Boarding House (where afternoon tea is provided)
or
after-school activity (can arrange a pick up)
or
tutoring/study session in Senior Campus library
NB: Students are not permitted to go into town
6.00 Dinner (everyone must attend unless at an activity)
7.00 Prep (homework) for all students
8.30 Pick up time for Years 5 to 9 (end of Prep)
