School Uniform and school text books can be purchased through the school. A full set of uniform will cost approximately AU$1,000. Some items can be sold through the second-hand uniform shop when a student leaves. The cost of text books varies depending on specific year levels, however students need to allow $600-$700 for books which also includes the cost of a calculator.

The school considers it important that each international student has a guardian who is appointed by and known to the parents. A guardian provides personal and practical support outside the school environment. If possible the guardian should be known to the student and ideally could also provide some accommodation during term vacation. Where families are unable to nominate a suitable guardian, the Director of Boarding becomes the student’s guardian at no charge.

Homestay During Term Break

We can make Homestay arrangements with an Australian family for our international students if required during the Terms 1 and 3 term breaks.

Medical Information

The school has a registered nurse who attends breakfast in the boarding house each weekday. A very well equipped and resourced hospital and medical clinic are close to the boarding houses.

Students on arrival at the College have a full day of orientation before school commences. New students are assisted with the purchase of their uniform and books and also introduced to the main shopping centre in Hamilton in order to establish familiarity with banking and other required facilities.

Airport Pick Up

The College can arrange transport to and from the airport free of charge, providing students travel on the date and time designated by the school at the beginning and end of each term and all flight details have been finalised with the Director of Boarding.
