Bake Sale for Community Awareness

Three year 10 girls have raised significant funds from a bake sale towards an orphanage in Nepal. The girls raised over $3,000 last year directing the funds to a school in Nepal. Students at the College are actively involved in community service and this year have spent time with the elderly and people with disabilities. A large number of students have also been involved with door knocking for the local hospital.

Fine Dining

The College Hospitality students have showcased their emerging culinary talents with two major events so far this year. In April the students created their own "Autumn Fall" restaurant with a clever combination of flowing fabric and fairy lights suspended from above and candlelight on the tables to create an intimate and relaxed atmosphere, the students created a beautiful small restaurant in the Tim Murray Room. More recently the students decorated the Shilliday Room and prepared and served a magnificent three course meal to the College Board and Executive team.
