VCE Revision Week
The Hamilton and Alexandra College is thrilled to announce the return of our
VCE Revision Week lectures in 2024.
In a collaborative approach with Connect Education and nationally recognised educators Andrew Douch (Biology) and Rob Malpeli (PE), we are excited to offer local VCE students the opportunity to enhance their academic outcomes with an onsite VCE Revision Week .
Featuring:
- Students from all schools across the region are invited to participate.
- In-person, 3-hour interactive revision.
- Comprehensive study guides.
- Subjects include English, Business Management, General Mathematics, Mathematical Methods, Psychology, Physics, Biology, Chemistry and Physical Education.
This initiative is part of our commitment to fostering a Rich Community of Service, providing a platform for shared learning and success.
College Students Additional information
When College students are not attending a lecture, they will be supported to complete:
- Online Lectures
- Independent or Group Study
- Practice Exam Papers
The Year 12 Common Room will be open for College students to use during break times.
The Science Centre will be available for Individual/Group Study.
Tea, Coffee, Hot Chocolate will be available.
BYO snacks and lunch.

Andrew Douch
Renowned Biology lecturer and Podcaster Andrew Douch works with students as they prepare for the Unit 3/4 VCE Biology examinations.
Rob Malpeli
Peak Phys Ed presenter Rob Malpeli has been a leader in senior Physical Education for more than 30 years, and his many texts and resources are used across Australia.
Study Guide
Connect Education lectures are accompanied by a comprehensive study guide that includes full course summaries for each subject, insights into how to answer the toughest exam questions, and tips by the State's top-performing students for how to ace exam preparation. Normally retailing for $25, each student gets a free copy included with each workshop.
Accommodation
Current College students who reside outside of Hamilton will be provided the opportunity to stay at
The Hamilton and Alexandra College during the revision week. A nightly fee of $50 will apply*.
Applications for boarding during this week can be made during your Revision Week Lecture booking and will be charged to your school account.
Boarding house will open daily at 3.30 pm and close at 8.30 am. Evening dinners and breakfast will be included in the price.
Students will also have the opportunity to make a packed lunch.
*No charge for current full-time boarding students.
