EQUESTRIAN
A unique opportunity for day and boarding students to be involved in College equestrian activities at school. We also offer boarding for students horses which is a wonderful comfort for many of our boarding students.
We are very proud of our unique facilities and our strong tradition of excellent equestrian programs at the College. We offer two subjects within the curriculum and students from as young as Prep can participate in our co-curricular program.

- Certificate II in Equine Industry (for students in Years 10, 11 and 12)

Riding classes
This unique offering encourages participation, effort, good sportsmanship and equestrian. Students can develop their skills in an encouraging and nurturing environment with individual attention and guidance by qualified instructors.
Clinics
We hold regular clinics run by guest instructors.
Events
We host all or a combination of the annual Western District Inter-School Equestrian Championships, Inter-Primary School Games Day, The Hamilton and Alexandra College and Geelong Dressage Championships and the Inter-House Show Jumping and Dressage events.
We encourage our students to compete in local shows, events, gymkhanas and Dressage Club Inc (when transport is available).
FACILITIES
The Equestrian Centre is located at our Myrniong Campus next to the Boarding Houses and Junior Campus. Students can agist their own horses with a variety of care packages on offer or use the College’s horses. All Horsemanship students have access to this facility after consultation with the Director of Equine.
