The Hamilton and Alexandra College Foundation

Nurturing Academic Opportunity

The Hamilton and Alexandra College is committed to remaining at the forefront of education. To achieve this, we rely on fundraising so we can continuously maintain, update and expand our facilities and programs. The Hamilton and Alexandra College Foundation, established in 1992, aims to seek philanthropic support for the school’s ongoing development and to secure the school’s financial independence.

Through a culture of giving, we will build upon the extraordinary 150 year history of The Hamilton and Alexandra College and honour the philanthropic support of our founders and connected community members.

Scholarship Fund

Our equity scholarships are designed to support families that prioritise the benefit of receiving a quality education but require financial assistance to make this dream a reality.

150 Club

In 2022, the school’s sesquicentenary year, the Foundation launched the 150 Club. Members of the 150 Club give $100 per month. Funds raised through this philanthropic group are dedicated to supporting students who could not otherwise afford to attend The Hamilton and Alexandra College.

Mirranatwa Building Fund

At a time when young people are craving the licence to develop real, human connections with one another, our new education facility at Mirranatwa will be our place, at the foot of Grampians (Gariwerd) National Park, to disconnect, slow down and reconnect with one another and the natural world. The abilities to think for oneself, to endure difficulty, and to forge human connections will be the new currencies of success. Mirranatwa will provide the place for College students to develop these critical skills. In 2026 we begin our campaign for Mirranatwa.
