Our Campuses

The Hamilton and Alexandra College Campuses

Chaucer Street

Our historic Chaucer Street campus houses our Middle School and Senior School, Year 7 through to Year 12. The heart of the campus is the iconic Tower Building where many students first begin their College journey, and which every graduating Year 12 climbs after finishing their final exams. The Chaucer Street campus is home to wonderful sporting facilities including the Handbury Sports Centre, College Cricket Club and oval, and the Neil MacLean Hockey Field. The music and drama facilities of the Kantor Family Music and Performing Arts Centre provide the location for weekly Senior School assemblies as well as rich program of concerts and productions.

Myrniong

The Myrniong Campus is home to our Early Learning Centre, our Junior School, our Equestrian Centre, and our Boarding Houses.

When a student joins the Myrniong community, they join a welcoming, warm, vibrant and connected community of students, parents and educators. Our ELC runs three-year-old and four-year-old programs informed by the Montessori approach. Our Junior School has its heart in the Myrniong Homestead. Junior School students enjoy quality classroom facilities an idyllic, park-like setting. Specialist subjects in Art, Drama, Chinese and Music are taught in dedicated classrooms.

Our Boarding Houses – Macdonald House for girls, Speirs House for boys, and the shared Refectory are all set in the beautiful grounds of Myrniong. Boarders have full access to the campus’s sporting and music facilities after school hours.

Mirranatwa

At a time when young people are craving the licence to develop real, human connections with one another, our new education facility at Mirranatwa in the Victoria Valley will be a place, at the foot of Grampians (Gariwerd) National Park, to disconnect, slow down and reconnect with each other and the natural world.

The facility will be home for human and natural education. It is a place where students can be themselves and with each other without the distractions or pressures of technology.

The facility will be used for day and overnight programs for all students from ELC to Year 12, with the focus ranging from outdoor education and wellbeing programs, to art and environmental education.

Uniquely located between the Serra and Victoria Ranges, the property is a special place that will become part of each student’s College story.
