Dancing Shadows

In this dynamic concert, much-loved Melbourne Chamber Orchestra core members take centre stage in a program three centuries in the making.

Mozart’s Divertimento brims with youthful charm and elegance, while Andrew Ford’s Sad Jigs offers a poignant, whimsical take on dance forms through a contemporary Australian lens.

The program culminates in Dvořák’s joyful and expansive Quintet in G major, a richly textured celebration of Bohemian spirit.

During their visit, Melbourne Chamber Orchestra will work directly with our students, sharing professional insight, rehearsal techniques and performance experience.
