Performing Arts at
The Hamilton and Alexandra College

Group of young people posing on a stage with a artistic backdrop.

We have a strong dramatic tradition at The Hamilton and Alexandra College and our annual productions draw large audiences from our school and the local community. There is a wide range of opportunities for students of all ages to be involved in our annual productions. This may be on the stage as actors and musicians, or behind the scenes with lighting, sound backstage, hair and make-up or supporting the front of house.

A group of young performers on stage in colorful costumes, posing with one girl in front wearing a shiny pink and silver outfit. The stage has a backdrop depicting a village scene with buildings, a mountain, and a sunset, illuminated by purple and blue lights.

Each year there is a Senior School production, and every two years a Junior School production. Our productions are not only fabulous showcases of effort and talent, they provide a context in which many students find their own rhythm and voice within the school.
